Hey you! Are you a pro at receiving guests with open arms and a big smile, even in the middle of the night? Are you known as the person who always has a kind word and a sparkling attitude, no matter the hour? Then we would like to get to know you!


 


As an Evening & Night Front Office Agent, you are the face of our hotel when the sun goes down. Your smile is the first impression our guests receive during the evening, and your calm, reliable presence is what keeps them feeling safe and at home overnight. You check in guests, give them information about the hotel and what the beautiful city has to offer, and how to get around, even during quieter hours. You will be dealing with guests of different nationalities, so your language skills will come in handy here! You ensure that nothing is missing for our guests, and with your good service you ensure that our guests want to come back again. You make the difference, day or night!


Contract & Schedule


This position is for 30.4 hours per week, structured as 3 nights shifts and 1 evening shift:


  • Evening shift: 15:00 – 23:00


  • Night shift: 23:00 – 07:00


This gives you a consistent rhythm while covering the hotel's key evening and overnight operations.


Key Responsibilities


As an Evening & Night Front Office Agent, you are the centre of the hotel and responsible for all work that takes place during the evening and night shift. These duties and responsibilities include:


  • Providing excellent service to our guests during evening and overnight hours


  • Handling questions and complaints, including late-night guest requests


  • Speaking to and checking in guests, including late arrivals


  • Check-out of guests and the financial settlement


  • Providing information and service to guests, such as general and tourist information, public transport, and restaurant recommendations


  • Handling various administrative tasks, such as answering emails from guests or travel agents, checking reservations, and sending invoices


  • Conducting night audit procedures and preparing daily financial reports for the morning shift


  • Performing security rounds and monitoring the hotel premises overnight to ensure guest and property safety


  • Preparing the front desk and lobby area for the morning shift handover

Bedrijfsomschrijving

In december 2011 werd Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam – Sloterdijk met 254 hotelkamers geopend. Het hotel ligt naast het treinstation Sloterdijk. Dit station kent een gemakkelijke verbinding met het openbaar vervoer van Amsterdam en omstreken, waardoor je met 10 minuten bij het centraal station van Amsterdam bent, het station van Haarlem en de luchthaven Schiphol. Bij Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam – Sloterdijk werken we met een jong en dynamisch team, waar regelmatig leuke uitjes en feestjes worden georganiseerd vanuit onze overkoepelende organisatie, The Vincent Hotel Group. The Vincent Hotel Group beschikt over 11 hotels en een Support Office, dit biedt jou de mogelijkheid om ook andere hotels te ontdekken of een functie te bemachtigen op het Support Office.
